Eclipse (Twilight #3)
User reviews
Stephenie Meyer did a good job with her release of the third book of the Twilight saga, Eclipse. Personally, it was my favorite out of the entire series. Although I loved the book, there were many things that peeved me quite a bit. Throughout the entire book, she has a vampire stalking her for revenge, Victoria. Bella lives in paranoia and fear as she learns that Victoria is out to kill her&in a painful death. Everybody (as in the vampires and werewolves) step in to protect her, which I thought was a bit too much just for her. The main character Bella herself annoys me very much because she is possibly the most selfish and infuriatingly indecisive person there is in the entire book. I dont see anything at all about her to love. Edward, her vampire fiancé, and Jacob, her werewolf best friend, are both competing for her love, and also hate each other because that is how nature created them. She is stubborn from the beginning that she is absolutely and completely in love with Edward, but a little later into the book, coincidentally after Jacob makes out with her, she slowly begins to realize that shes also in love with Jacob. I think its mostly her hormones speaking. Shes only 17 for crying out loud, yet shes in love with 2 completely different guys. Bella dumps Jacob away as soon as Edward came back to her. On top of that, she cries herself to death over Jacob while Edward is around, hurting Edward in the process. I have never hated a fictional character as much as I hate Bella Swan.
This one was defidently the best of them all!!!
It had plenty of action in it and it kept you on the edge just waiting to see what happens after each page...unlike new moon..ugh!
but this is where Victoria comes in and Edward and Jacob do their thing..it is just full of action!!...once again, unlike new moon.
So if you read new moon and arnt sure about reading this one, trust me it gets good!! Buuutt...then it goes back down in breaking down =/
Very rarely to I give out 5 star ratings on books because let's face it....there are so many great ones out there it really has to git me the right way to stick. That being said, Eclipse, the third book in the Twilight series, offers another one two punch with the telling of Edward and Bella's riveting tale. I don't want to reveal too much as I am sure there are still some that have not read the novels yet (you know who you are!), but of the books thus far, this one has the most action you've seen. We have a scorned lover out for revenge, Bella on the precipice of making the decision of her life or lack thereof, and the werewolves becoming quite restless as there pack continues to grow thanks to the returned presence of the Cullen family. Highly recommended for one and all...happy reading!
At lasted edward returns along with alice. When Victoria returns for revenge on Edward. The cullens exepted for Eward and bella, go to war aganst the new born vampire created by the one and only Victoria. In the extremely awesome end, Edward kills Victoria. And bella is safe once and for all. Or is she....
This book is as great as the last two I totally love the battle at the end
OMG!!! i love this book!! Amazing!! This is my favorite book out of the Twilight series! This is way more better than the first, second, forth books! I just love Jacob!!! I think this one was with the most action which is why i couldn't stop reading. Loved every minute of it, couldn't put it down. All of Stephanie Meyer's books is very addicting! You will just want to crave for more!
I loved this book also! but like how jacob told her dad about the bike in the last one wasnt fair then in this book she could only see edward certian times was dumb of her dad! but little did he know he would come up to her room anyways at night! but yeah and the whole marriage thing and getting engaged i just wanted them to get engaged so bad! and was very happy at the end! i love love love all these books in the series!!!!!
Bella and Edward and tested yet again with their love. This time with the help of teenage wolves. And it is all because of Victoria, the vampire who lost her mate in the first book. In the past, Victoria would strike and run but now she's going to be in the real battle. And Edward is willing to do anything to protect Bella.
In this book, the loving vampires join forces with Jacob's tribe of "Wolves." And with this unexpected group, they actually find themselves liking it (well, at least SOME of them do) and it creates special bonds between the enemies.
Join Bella, Jacob, Edward and the rest of the Cullens in this amazing tale of love surviving anything. It's a GREAT read. Stephenie Meyer may just be one of the best writers of our generation.
Edward is back but will Edward and Bella ever live a happily ever after? And will Edward and ever get along? New evils are back too and will not leave until they leave damage. Enemies will form alliance and fight for peace and Bella. But does Bellas team win?
Vampires, werewolves, and fragile humans are back and will once again leave you wanting for more until you find the answer to every question that pops in your mind. I enjoyed Eclipse just as much as I enjoyed Twilight and New Moon and hope you do too.
I started to love Jake in New Moon, but in this one... oohhh.... I just adored him.... and Bella doesnt know what to think, what to feel (and thats why I kind of hat her a little).
I completely love the book, because its full of romance, intrigue, and full of Jake and Edward, both of them trying to win Bella´s heart. By the end they end up working together, against those trying to destroy them, vampires and werewolfs.
Awesome book!!!
