I have really enjoyed using this book with my daughter. It has enough text to use as a jumping off point to tell the story. I don't need the whole Torah portion written out - but having the pictures and initial text is plenty to allow me to tell the story. It has pictures of girls and women which is something not to be taken for granted these days in traditional Jewish books.
Good Points
Contains original text from The Torah
Has just a bit of classical commentary
Leaves plenty of room for imagination and for the story to be told "outside" the text
