In the second installment of Brandon Mull's Fablehaven series, siblings Kendra and Seth find themselves back at Fablehaven as soon as school is over. But this visit isn't that pleasant. First of all, Seth is being hunted by a frog demon who wants to eat him. Secondly, Grandpa Sorenson is hurt because he was attacked by an imp. And thirdly, the Society of the Evening Star knows about Fablehaven and the valuble artifact it holds and they want it. The Society is an ancient organization who has been trying to gather powerful artifacts for hundreds of thousands of years to use them for evil. Will the Society get the artifact? Will Fablehaven fall to evil? Will Seth stay out of trouble? Will good persist or will evil take over? You need to read this book to find out!
