I love Fancy Nancy! I'm always impressed how Ms. O'Connor can use vocabulary in such a way that gets every kid excited about listening to her stories. We love to read Fancy Nancy stories in Kindergarten. My students love to try and use the fancy words in their every day language. I am constantly pausing for children that want to add an interesting word to our vocabulary poster.

I loved Fancy Nancy: Heart to Heart. In our classroom, I think we read and revisited the book three times in a week. What a great way to get kids excited about reading. And those interesting words transfer to their writing as well!
