Finally Seen I would say was overall a good book, but had a couple of issues.
For the good part, I like the problems that Lina Gao has to face. They are very realistic and I can really feel for the character. I think the relationship between her and her sister is sweet, and so is the relationship between her and Lao Lao. I also like the way Lina learns English over time: To read books, one of them by her own sister. I like Finn as a character as well, although I can't quite explain it.
For some problems, I thought a couple of things. I picked up that the age of Millie (her sister,) is around six or seven, and the whole story line that her sister wrote a book about an immigrant who started a flea shop was unrealistic, not to mention the fact that every single person likes it. I didn't really like Jessica as a villain, because she was kind of one noted and didn't have much dimension to her. I also didn't like how quickly Jessica apologized for her behavior, I almost thought it would work better if she never admitted to her mistakes and Jessica was still a villain.
