Five Green and Speckled Frogs is a fun sing-a-long book that keeps the kids engaged from beginning to end!

Books that involve singing are always my favorite for when I read or care for larger groups of kids. Sing-a-longs really allow for every kid to be involved, and for it to be more of a group activity rather than just me reading to them. Larger groups of kids can be harder to keep track of or provide individual attention to, so books like Five Green and Speckled Frogs are helpful in keeping everyone feeling included.

I loved the attention to details in the illustrations. If this book had no words, the illustrations on each page would be able to fully tell the story on their on. All the expressions of the frogs on each page made for an entertaining and funny read because the kids could point out exactly what would happen before I even read the words!

Final thoughts?

An entertaining and great sing-a-long book! Great from involving everyone, those who can and can’t read yet! Most kids won’t be able to keep their eyes off this one because of the perfect illustrations and the frogs’ scales (which are glittery and reflect every time you turn the page)!
