A fantastically clever and magical adventure, complete with incredible feats of bravery, heart-warming characters, and strange beasts. FOXHEART tells the tale of Quicksilver, an orphan who is determined to become the greatest thief in all the Starlands. Little does the girl know that she is destined to become the greatest witch in all of history.

Quicksilver's adventure begins with her escaping the convent's orphanage after it is attacked by a mystical creature, the likes of which she has never seen. From there, the girl makes an unlikely friend in a boy whose sick parents are thiefs, and a powerful older witch who promises to teach her how to use magic. This motley assortment of travelling companions undertakes an adventure that could either save or destroy the entirety of the Starlands.

The dichotomy between good and evil, brave and cowardly, bravery and selfishness is really at the heart of Quicksilver's story. The little witch herself is not all good, or all bad, and neither are her adventuring companions. Even her trusted dog, named Fox, isn't everything he appears to be. Quicksilver must learn quite a lot about human nature and friendship in order to survive. People change, and people are not all good, or all evil, despite appearances or what you think you might know about them.

Foxheart will pull at your heartstrings and leave your turning the pages long into the night. Highly recommended for fantasy lovers of all ages.
