The story:
Raven moved to D.C. to start a new life but when she discovers the diary of missing diamond heiress Lark, her life takes a turn she could never have expected. As she tries to unravel the clues left behind by the missing girl she soon realises there may be something more sinister about Lark’s disappearance.
What I loved:
The questions and mystery were so well written even when I was only getting little teasers of what might come I couldn’t put the book down. I enjoyed reading from both Raven’s perspective then switching to Lark’s as it gave more insight into the missing heiress and her mindset.
What was just okay:
Fragile Façade didn’t offer any real answers only leaving me with more questions than I’d started with. I don’t mind a cliff-hanger ending, but it would’ve been nice to have a little more.
Final Verdict:
Fragile Façade was full of mystery, intrigue, and questions, so many questions. I found it hard to put down as the story unfolded, not wanting to stop until I had the next piece of the puzzle which in turn lead to yet another piece. I look forward to seeing where the mystery takes both Raven and Lark in book two of the series.
