This is my first book review but I'd like to say that Generation Dead is THE zombie book series to read. Kiss of Life makes the 'differently biotic' world even more exciting. Passing Strange (third book in the series) will no doubt be a knock-out in the zombie-loving world!
I absolutly love the series. I'm wasn't a zombie fan untill i read Generation Dead. Now I'm searching everywhere for Daniel Waters books. I can't wait for Passing Strange.

I'd like to apologize for the multiple reviews. My mouse button was stuck and wouldn't stop clicking 'submit'. I'd just like to say that the Generation Dead series is awsome and im very excited for Passing Strange's upcoming release. I can't wait to see if Phoebe ends up coupled with Tommy or Adam, how Tommy's 'quest'  turns out, and if Margi ends up with Adam or the nerd (who's name escaped me and I can't seem to find in Kiss of Life), and also what happens to Coellette and DeCayce.

This book was great! It was the best book I have read all year. I COULD NOT put it down. My ELA teacher told me to stop reading 4 times! No kidding! It is about Phoebe, a goth girl, who falls in love with a zombie. The  teenager has to learn to love him, to help him recover from his own death. The zombies have to work together to save their home; the Haunted House. Read this book to find out who wins... HUMANS VS. ZOMBIES

The differently biotic people are back in Daniel Waters sequel to Generation Dead. And let me tell you, Kiss Of Life does not disappoint.

Well, it didn't disappoint me at least! The book was amazing. I cried, I laughed, I rooted for my favorite and I got a whole new perspective on my life.

I should not judge people who are differently than me.  I also should not think that dating a differently biotic boy would be any less dramatic than dating a biotic guy.

In Kiss of Life, Phoebe gets another DB boyfriend after her bestfriend Adam dies and comes back again. But things aren't all fairy tale, happy ending like she thought it would be. Adam is having problems adjusting to DB life and there are a group of living people trying to ban the world of the DB people!

Yes, this isn't your average zombie read! It's backwards and will keep you on your toes! It'll also take your breath away...if you still have the need for it. :)

I have to say, Kiss of Life was not what I had expected. Whereas Generation Dead had more of a romantic element, Kiss of Life had more of a...plot element. It seemed to me as if Kiss of Life was more towards what was happening to the outside world [beyond Connecticut] than what was happening between Tommy, Pheobe and Adam.

What I did enjoy about Kiss of Life was the fact that for some of the chapters, the readers were able to view what was in Adam's head, a zombie's head. I liked it because it gave the readers a sense of how a zombie thought and how different it was between a zombie's mind and what a zombie actually said and that zombies aren't stupid, it's just that their motor skills haven't adjusted yet.

What I didn't enjoy about Kiss of Life was the fact that there weren't much details between the relationship of Tommy and Phoebe. I wished that Daniel had added more between them and the only communication between them were the infrequent emails. It frustrated me because I really wanted him and Phoebe to be together...

Kiss of Life had a LOT of things going on around the same time - a group whose goal was to frame the zombies with horrendous acts, the new zombie club that had opened in NYC, Tommy traveling around the country looking for more help, etc. and etc. It seemed to me that Kiss of Life had way too many things going on so it seemed pretty jumbled and confusing.

Overall, Kiss of Life will probably be a LOT better if there's a sequel that follows it up because all the actions in the novel needs some sort of conclusion, right?
