  1. Wendy Liu says:

I saw this movie and I was most looking forward to the Amsterdam scene – especially when they were at the restaurant and Augustus declares his love to Hazel. It was a beautiful scene and how I imagined it while reading the book!

  2. Aleah Gornbein says:

I’ve already read the book and seen the movie and I kept getting chills because it was so perfect. Gus and Hazel were perfectly cast. Probably my favorite moment from the book that I saw on screen is the scene in which Hazel comes over to Augustus’s basement and Isaac is smashing all the basketball trophies while Hazel and Gus are just chatting about An Imperial Affliction. Their characters really come to life here.

  13. Geraldine Perez says:

I absolutely love this book by John Green. It was so different then the other YA stories and that is what made it so special to experience. And to be honest I’ve never been so deeply affected by a book before. I haven’t seen the movie yet but I’m excited to see the relationship the actors portray of the trio Hazel, Gus, and Isaac. After I read the book I was in shock and seriously just sat there with the book in my hand for about 15 minutes, but besides using a whole box of tissues and yet I thoroughly enjoyed it anyways. 😀
