Goose on the Farm might just win "Book with the Cutest Illustrations" from me! Filled with tons of animals, the children I read this with and the people I lended the book to were "aw"-ing through the entire thing. Adding onto the fact that this book was so bright and colorful (there were no big white spaces), and the touching story, Goose on the Farm could definitely be any kid's new favorite book.

It begins with the characters Sophie and Goose, who both take a bus to see a farm with all types of animals. As Sophie and her class look around, Goose feels left out and then eventually meets an adorable little goat...

If I could use one word to describe this story, it would have to: ADORABLE.

There was not a single character that was not drawn adorably, and all of them were so completely lovable that it made the story that much more enjoyable. This book takes you on a mini adventure that speaks on kindness and friendship, which children can take a lot from. What really made this book stand out though, was that all the backgrounds were colored in with bright, loud colors that really brought the simple illustrations to life. For any other book, this could've been too much, but it worked absolutely perfect for this one. It personally made this one of my all-time favorite children's books :)

I would highly recommend this to all young readers, and especially for children who might get easily distracted- because they won't be if they're reading this one! It's hard to look away from the bright and colorful pages, as well as the adorable animals. A perfect children's book, overall!
