Fans of R.L Stine will absolutely love Christopher Krovatin’s Grave Diggers Series. Mountain of Bones is filled with zombies, suspense, and humor.
Ian, PJ, and Kendra are 6th grade students attending the Homeroom Earth Camp in Montana. Things go horribly wrong when they get lost in the woods.
Mountain of Bones is a heart-pounding well written read. The story moves quickly and there are enough twists and surprises to keep any young reader at the edge of their seats. The narration of the story gives Mountain of Bones a first-hand account feel of a zombie attack. Christopher Krovatin tells a great story of survival. These middle school students use their strengths to work as a team to try and find their way back without getting eaten by zombies.
With a high scare factor and age appropriate gruesome details added in, Mountain of Bones is a perfect zombie book for middle school students.
