Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
User reviews
It is Harry's fourth year at Hogwarts, and the Triwizard tournament is taking place.
As Harry is under seventeen he cannot participate in the competition, but when his name unexplainably falls out of the goblet of fire, he has no choice but to compete against the other contenders.
With Ron ignoring him, a ball dance coming up, and tough challenges to face, Harry is finding it hard to cope with this year at Hogwarts, but he is oblivious to the evil plot against him...
I really enjoyed reading Harry Potter. Im such a pushover when it comes to fantasy books!when I started reading it, I found it a little slow to get into, but then I just couldn't put it down! It was the first Harry Potter book I ever read, and after I finished it I read all the following ones.
In this Harry Potter book theres a new love interest for Ron and Hermine. I won't spoil it for you, they also are having competitions against other schools. I like this book alot because they seem to be growing up, like there having crushes on people. It's fun to see them go through the normal teenage problems even though there wizards. All of these books are good but this one has to be one of my favorites. Theres nothing wrong with any of the Harry Potter books there all perfect. That's pretty much why I gave it a 5. These books are unique theres nothing like them right now.
Wow...what a book. All the books of harry potter are good, but This one was my favorite... the way this one was written made my imagination go wild.

As the years go by harry and his friends are growing up n now face a new challenge. The wizards tournament returns to hogwarts. A tournament mostly preformed by 3 schools and that a goblet picks one student from each school to compete to become the champion. Harry not even old enough to enter the contest was choosen as one of the 4 champions. Having to live through 3 dangerous tasks he faces dragons, sea monsters, and a huge maze filled with creatures.Touching the goblet n transporting to an unknown graveyard harry is met face to face with lord voldamort and the battle begins. A page turner and u wouldnt want to drop the book or even go to sleep until u have finish this action packed book
This was a very fun book to read. As the reader gets more into the series we find that Harry is growing up. This is the first novel that really shows how much Harry is growing up because he has his first crush on a girl: Cho Chang. Upon accidentaly entering into a dangerous tournamnet Harry must, once again, fight for his life.
I don't know if JK is growing as a writer or if she is meaning for her writing to grow with the group but it just keeps getting better! Once again Harry is in danger, but from who? Who entered him into a dangerious event that had charms put on it to ensure no underage wizards or whitches could enter. Another great adventure that I could not put down! In fact I have started reading each book over as the new ones come out.
Harry Potter and the goblet of fire is an outstanding book, as I think all of the other Harry Potter books are.
In this book, Harry is forced to compete in a competition that he wants no part in and risk his life. His best friend, Ron, gets jealous of him and all the attention and fame that Harry has, but in te end, Ron pulls through.
There is a bit of romance in this book for Hermione as all the characters are getting older and more mature.
Harry Potter, only a fourthyear at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, is stunned to find out about the reinstatement of the Triwizard Tournament, where 3 wizards perform dangerous, and often quite deadly, tasks to compete for the glory of their school, and the thousand Galleon prize! But, someone has put Harrys name into the cup, and now he must compete or die trying! This emotional tale leads the reader down the halls of Hogwarts, under the Black Lake, and to the middle of a giant maze, where he must compete against all the others to find the trophy, and to live to see the trophy before the mazes inhabitants get him first!
Personally, I loved this book because of the unforgettable characters, and the degree of mastery Rowling shows with the smoke and mirrors; youll keep reading until the very end!
This book makes you feel like your really there; you can feel Harrys distress, emphasize with his emotions, and ride along on Rowlings spellbinding journey to the end, where youll definitely find a twist! Go ahead, read this classic today!
this is harrys 4th year at hogwarts and everybody thinks that lord voldermort is dead.
Soon there are events at hogwarts and these events are only for sixth years and seventh
years to enter these events you must write your name and put it into a goblet which is gaurded
with spells to make sure nobody other than the sixth and seventh years may enter this competition
and whoevers name is in the goblet has to enter the competition some how harrys name ends up
inside the goblet nobody has a clue who put harrys name in the goblet soon harry has to finish the
competition
i like this book because it makes you filled with suspense and i think those who like andventure and fantasy should
read this book.
