With voldamorts army getting stronger and a defence against the dark acts teacher being to protective of what is taught in school harry and his friends decide to make their own army to take on voldemort and take him down. With umbridge taking over the school harry finds a place to learn and teach other students how to protect themselves against the evils. Fighting voldemorts army and a surprising death at the end, this book will take you on a new journey not like any other before.

Harry Potter is seen in a Ministry hearing for producing a Patronus in the presence of a muggle. But when all of the charges are dimissed, the Minister gets mad.

He sends his secretary, Professor Umbridge, to Hogwarts as the new defense against the dark arts teacher. But she soon get permission to become the High Inquestidor of Hogwarts. Where she can do almost anything the headmaster can.

Harry Potter, seeing that the Ministry is trying to make people believe the Voldemort is not back, prepares students in the room of requirement for fighting against dark wizards and witches. But when Umbridge gains power as headmaster of hogwarts, things go askew.

I thought that this book was one of the best books i have ever read. I loved all of the action and the duels and especially harry potter. I highly recommend this book if you are looking for some non-stop duels and action. This book also features non-stop magic.

Harry Potter and the Order of the Pheonix is a page turner from the start. I think Rowling did a great job with Professor Umbridge to. The battles are great, the Order of the Pheonix is great Harry, Ron, and Hermoine are great and many more things. I highly suggest reading the great series.

I have mixed feelings about this one. It started out as my least fav. but as I have read it more it is no longer my least fav...though still not my fav. Harry is full of attitude & this really turned me off at first. Why is he so hateful, whinny, acting like a bratty baby. Then I thought about his age at this point & his point of view & he started to make sence to me. Who wasen't a bit self absorbed at this age & look at everything he has gone through...I think he deserves a bit of tentrum time. A great book but give Harry some thought before you judge him too fast.

all i can say is great awesome and terriffic. Once I started I didn't let go. This book lets out tons of secrets that help harry on his quest to demolish Voldemort once and for all. Ron Hermione and Harry have a little hard time in this book. Dumbledore is a looking a little shaky for Harry. Things he can't figure out are happening. Though with Voldemort following his every move it is kinda hard to figure things out. If you are looking for a action filled book though this is not the book for you. yes there are some parts that are dangerous and action-y but this book gives a lot of information that help out in the other books Nuff said.

harry is back! in the last book of the series. and hes stronger, angrier, and scared more then ever.

searching to kill voldermort with ron and hermione he'll unlock secrets of the past that makes him unsure of him and dumbledore's realationship. not to mention his and hermoines and rons. plus with voldermort at there tail every minute its very difficult for harry.also having one chance to get it right....woah.

jk rowling really hit the score on this book. chillinh and exciting you wont wanna stop reading it. awsome awsome book!

In this fifth book of the Harry Potter Series, Harry learns about the resistance movement to Voldemort's regime, and wants to help them out. But, the Order of the Phoenix keeps him in school, and can't do anything to help; the Ministry won't admit to Voldemort's return! With the ministry also interfering at Hogwarts, via Prof. Umbridge, life has become very difficult for Harry Potter at Hogwarts.

This book seemed to drag on and on for me... it wasn't actually that good; and doesn't compare to the other books in the series! Yes, you can feel Harry's frustration of the year never seeming to end, but we don't need to feel it for 870 pages! I expected better from this celebraty author!

this is harrys fifth year and as nobody wants to beleive that voldermort came back but have to and the ministry of magic has been up to no good all they have been doing is lying about harry and saying that everything harry said was a lie. the order of pheonix are fighting against voldemort as harry was at privet drive with dudley for some reason there was a dementor chasing after dudley
and harry. harry obviously had to use the patronus charm and got a letter from the ministry saying he had to go to the ministry.soon harry was picked up by tonks mad eye moody and so on he went to the ministry and had a witness soon his name was cleared and then harrynwent to hogwarts and then harry and his friends made an army called d.a dumbledores army there they learned proper defense against the dark arts and harry had a vission of sirius at the ministry with voldemort he and the D.A left to fight voldemort.i like this story because it shows how they fight voldemort and beat him and how sirius dies and voldemort escapes.
