This sequel to the Harry Potter series is the most exciting yet. With a faboulous plot, the unusual mix of eclectic characters, J.K. Rowling creates the literary world that millions of kids love. A trail of clues lead up to a phenomenel climax. If you burned the midnight oils to finish the first four books, refill your lamps because this book is more of the same!

I give this a three, because I feel that somehow it could have been better.

I'm gonna start of with Cho Chang. That girl has problems and they need to be looked at. the way she was crying about Cedric implied that they might have done something together. I kinda thought she might have been pregnant for him, because come on, only a chick who might have had or was going to have his kid would carry on like that.

And the there was Umpbridge (I think that's how you spell it). She obviously had something big against Harry to do the things she did and I think she might have had a thing for Snape.

Then there's Snape. Yea, if I was him I would hate James Potter too for what he did. Harry's kinda of stupid so his dislike for Harry is justifiable.

With Ron and Hermione, you can tell there's something going on between them, but you can't tell if she like Ron or Victor or Harry. She's confusng. And then you kind of wonder if Ron likes her at all.

Now You could tell Sirius was kinda suicidal, it wasn't that hard to figure out. And if you didn't notice it at first, when someone mentions it to you, your like "oh, yea he was". That's kinda mean that he left Remus all alone now. I'm starting to wonder if she'll kill off Remus too. I'm starting to wonder if Sirius is really dead. That veil is very suspicious, you don't really know what's behind there.

Why exactly is Voldemort afraid of Dumbledore? I think there's something going on there, but Dumbledore isn't saying anything. I kinda think Dumbledore is a bit out there.

Harry thinks that everything that goes on is about him. And if he wasn't so nosy, Sirius might still be alive. Harry has bad luck whe it comes to girls, hopefully he'll get with some new girl.

Last but not least, I think Ginny shoud get with Draco. That would just be cool. It would be a total act of defiance on oth sides.

The fifth book in the Harry Potter series proves to be the most detailed and action packed. In this installment, Harry finds himself to be at one with Lord Voldemart's (He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named) thoughts. Harry begins having prophetic dreams, which are later revealed to be Lord Voldemart's plans.

Harry also begins dating in this novel. His longtime crush, Cho,returns his affections. However, there's only one problem, Cho happens to be the former girlfriend of Cedric, Harry's friend who was murdered by Lord Voldemort. Harry may be able to make himself invisible, but even wizards have problems understanding members of the opposite sex.

While most of the characters are returning players in the series, we are introduced to Ministry of Magic undersecretary Dolores Umbridge, the phony and dangerous teacher who takes over the trusted Dumbledore's position.

Sirus Black, Harry's godfather, returns to help the Order of the Phoenix, but he is forced to remain inside his family home since he is a wanted criminal. Sirus's support gives Harry the closest thing to a family that he has ever had.

This fifth book in the series is the most detailed. While the media reports have toted the death of a "major player" to be the big story here, the real story lies within the clues that are dropped by the author. We finally learn the truth behind Harry's scar and why it throbs when Voldemort is near. We also learn why Professor Snape despises Harry's father so much as he sees how his father treated Snape when they were teens.

The much talked about death is handled carefully and realistically as Harry questions whether or not he'll be able to see his deceased friend again since ghosts like Headless Nick frequent Hogworts school. The author lets the finality of death sink into Harry's conscious as he realizes that his friend will not be coming back.

This book is a must for Harry Potter fans. While it is the longest book in the series, it does not disappoint the reader with its roller coaster ride ending and the heartbreaking, yet touching conclusion. J.K. Rowling has remained true to her characters as she has let them grow older while still maintaining their original personalities and integrity.

Harry Potter by far is the best book I have ever read, no competition! And that's saying something because I read alot. Well you all know what I'n talking about, most of you have seen the movie. But you can't fully understand what I'm talking about unless you have read the books. The reason I like this Harry Potter book the best is because Harry finally takes a stand. He's tired of being misstreated, he's tired of everyone leaving him out, he's tired of always being the one people look at. Basically, he's tired of being Harry. This year, he won't let people push him around. He has alot of anger and Harry is not going to keep it botttled up inside him. He's going to let it out. But sometimes that can get him into alot of trouble; especially this year with a defense against the dark arts teacher like poisened honey. Will Harry be able to handle being Harry any longer? Read and find out! All I know is that this is the best book I have ever read!!
