this is one of the best books i have ever laid my eyes on. the whole harry potter series is. j.k. rowling you ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!
in this book, harry is entered into hagwarts school of wicth craft and all that stuff. well harry finally gets to leave uncle vernon and dudley and aunt petuina. he learns some about himsefl and meets 2best friends. harmorne and ron.
when i first heard about this book, it was when i was in the second grade and my brothers first grade teacher had read it to them. he loved the book so much i got it for him. i tried reading it one, twice, three times but i couldnt come trough with it. i just hated it. when i entered third grade after some while my teacher, mr. hall anouced he was going to read to us harry ptter and the sorcere's stone because he was very found of the books. before he started reading it, i tried to persuade him not to by telling him that it was a very boring and uninteresting book. he told me to be patient and tell me what i though about the book until i had actually read it. so he ended up reading it to us and i absolutely loved it. i told him that and he kinda made fun of me for dissing it in te first place. that where my relationship with a really good book/series started.
i love this series because of all the suspence and that fact that it just makes you want to read more plus when you read it it's like your part of the book like your in the book and when you stop you just have to get back in. its like you've been put under a spell and have to continue but in a good kinda way.
i would recomend this series to anyone 10+ because at that age you can actually tell whats going on around you and understand it giving you the advantage of understanding the book better.
