Mountain biker Paski catches the attention of super hottie Chris on her first day at her new Orange County school--which, unfortunately, also earns her the wrath of the most popular girls who hate everyone who's not like them. Readers will adore spunky Paski, will laugh at her hilarious, straight-talking narration and will cheer for her as she finds the courage to be herself and to put the haters in their place. An inspiring, empowering read (with an impossibly adorable love interest) that I hope will be the first of many chica lit novels for young adults.
