Hello, I’m a Pangolin teaches young readers basic facts about this rare creature. Giving the information from a Pangolin’s perspective makes the book more engaging and personal. The facts help demystify this mysterious animal by talking about why their scales are not good medicine when they are made from the same stuff as fingernails which we know doesn’t have healing properties. It teaches about the danger of extinction and how we can help keep them safe. The illustrations are well done and the text is accessible for preschool- beginning elementary making this an ideal nonfiction book for young readers.
