As the most powerful fledging in vampyre history, Zoey Redbird finally managed to come to terms with her power as well as fitting in at the House of Night. She is also getting a handle on being the new leader of the Dark Daughters as well as the Dark Sons. Along with her friends, Stevie Rae, Erin, Shaunee and Damien, she wants to find a new direction for the group after the ouster of Aphrodite. Best of all, Zoey felt like she finally belonged somewhere, somewhere where she really fits in. Not only that, she also has a boyfriend&or maybe two. A young sexy professor seems to be attracted to her and her to him as well. However, something shocking appears. Human teenagers are being killed and all evidence points at the House of Night. As danger appears to her human friends, she realizes that the power that she holds also threaten those she loves. But when she needs her new friends the most, death strikes home and she must face the betrayal that could break her heart. This book started out kind of slow but quickly picks up. The book is very interesting and Im absolutely hooked with this series. I totally recommend this book to everyone.
