I thought this was a cute little story about kids and their dogs. While the girls weren't nearly as interested in it, they still listened to it with ease. I think they story itself was just a tad too long to hold their attention in one sitting. It's kind of touch and go with them at times. Anyways, I thought it was fun. The dog was so cute and did the funniest things. I loved watching it get into trouble. The illustrations were whimsical and simple, just how it should be for a kids book.
