Giovanna always seems to be getting into trouble, even when it completely isnt her fault. When her twin Dante decides to run for student body president against the mayors son she completely loses it when her boyfriend Jesse becomes the oppositions campaign manager. In fact, even though Jesse is the best thing that has happened to her since they moved to town three years ago, she winds up dumping him in front of everyone. Even her brother thinks she is crazy.
Then theres her not-very-good relationship with her stepmother, Gabby. Dante seems to be able to twist their stepmother around his little finger, but Giovanna is the one thats always getting yelled at. Sure, she could take her brothers advice and give in a little, but why?
Giovannas life goes from crazy to crazier as she deals with trying to win Jesse back, getting Dante elected (though why does he suddenly not even seem to care??), dealing with her friends, arguing with her stepmother and, as always, getting in more trouble.
Are Jesse and Dante plotting something? Whats up with Wilson, the mayors son? Can things possibly get any crazier?
This is a fun romantic comedy where Giovanna ultimately learns that maybe, just maybe, she should let go and trust in other people a little more. And maybe give everyone (even her stepmother) the benefit of the doubt. Recommended for any girls looking for a lighthearted read, especially those 12 and up.

Gio (I'll call her that for short), has a twin brother who decides to go againest Wilson for president because he wants a memioral or something for a student who died.
So he runs and asks Gio's bf Jesse to be the campaign manger and when Gio finds out he is actually helping Wilson as a favor she instantly breaks up with him.
The catch is she doesn't know that Jesse is really looking out for her all along...until the end!
