Aimed at third through seventh graders, How to Teach Grown-Ups about Climate Change is a perfect book to add to a library's collection, whether it be community, school, or home.

This book is full of attitude and spunk. The science of climate change is explained in simple terms. There are details about real ways we're already seeing the effects of climate change, what we can expect, and how we can slow it down.
This is a serious topic, with real science, intermingled with hilarious and brilliant facts, making this an easily digestible read.

This book is also packed with wonderful illustrations which not only demonstrate in pictures what can be done, elaborating what is written in the text, but also lend themselves to being an additional teaching aid for all readers.

The book ends with a quiz that you can give your grown-ups, plus more detail on What You Can Do. There is a good glossary, an age-appropriate list of references, as well as an index.

How to Teach Grown-Ups about Climate Change empowers young readers to move from understanding climate change to climate activism as both personal choices and political, systemic change.
