Matilda Rose has lost her kisses and is determined to find them before her dad gets home (because, you know, shes just got to greet him with a big smoocheroo!). In I Lost My Kisses by Trudie Trewin, were treated to a super-adorable super-smoocher in this little spotted cow illustrated by Nick Bland.

I particularly love that she is illustrated wearing everything from spotted cow pajamas (and fuzzy pink slippers) to a spotted cow dress (and yellow and pink polka-dotted pants). Actually, in general, the illustrations in this book are really delightful charming and soft with all the characters having great big emotional&well, cow eyes.

And Matilda herself is also a little wonder as she searches high and low for those elusive kisses. What do they look like? Where can she find them? Will she locate her kisses in time for her dads arrival at the airport?

Recommended for parents looking for a sweet picture book to share with their child (boy or girl, though Im sure girls will especially identify with the sweet Matilda Rose).
