All it took was one glance and sixteen-year-old Juliet's life was forever changed. I REMEMBER YOU takes a familiar premise of time-travel and gives readers an unique twist with an amazing voice and addictive chemistry.

I love a good time-travel story and this one fit the bill. Seventeen-year-old Lucas is headed for the Marines. He's the last person straight A student Juliet would think of let alone date. Then he starts mentioning he remembers their first kiss, first dance, and first fight only they'd never dated. Even though Juliet feels he might be delusional, she can't seem to stay away. When some of his futuristic predictions do come true, Juliet is torn. Can Lucas be time traveling and can she save him from a death that is sure to happen in the future?

What worked: The chemistry between Juliet and Lucas starts right on the first page and builds throughout the story. Bell weaves magic with her storytelling and you fall in love with the characters.

Juliet is not just the stereotypical type A student who takes AP classes, is on many extracurricular committees, and dreams of being a lawyer. When Lucas shows up in her life, she struggles with his confessions of the future and has to dig deep within herself to see if in fact the path she'd saw for herself might not be what she really wants.

Lucas comes across as being divided and torn between his dreams and if he should trust Juliet with what he's seen. He's vulnerable but also determined to try to make sense of everything and whether or not he might be in a dream. The whole time travel premise isn't for sure and there might in fact be more going on here. I really liked that as some of those time travel novels out there have a hard time holding up as there is no consequences to what one might or might do with messing with time. **The whole string theory that is a huge part of jumping time lines comes to mind. Yes, I admit it, I'm kind of a Sci-fi geek!

What really worked was the struggles not only Juliet but Lucas have with his revelations and later on. The story isn't wrapped up in a neat little package at the end but rather leaves readers wondering and making their own conclusions on the fate of these two.

Engaging love story with all the anguish of first love and choices. An unique twist on the whole time traveling premise that I totally loved.
