In the Waves was a lot shorter than I thought it would be. Yes, I knew it was a picture book, but I was hoping for a bit more. I loved that it was about two sisters and using your imagination though. The theme is family-friendly and it's also a perfect summer book for kids. I thought it was a too repetitive with the lines "in the waves, in the water", I mean, they used those lines a LOT. I guess it's supposed to be a sing-along book so that's why it's like that, but then it would've been much more enjoyable as an audiobook/book with a CD. The illustrations were colorful and lively and it's definitely appealing to the eye. The girls weren't as interested in it as they usually are, but they did find some parts that they liked.
Thoughts from BG1: It was a cute story and I like how they use their imagination. It was funny when their mom kept wondering what was taking them so long to get ready.
Thoughts from BG2: Look at all the treasure! I want it all! Mine! Mine! Mine!
I like when they're in the bubble bath together. It looks like fun.
