Meggie's father has an ability to read characters from books to life ( really to life). When Meggie was little, her father read the book Inkheart, and something terrible happen. The evil, very evil Capricorn and his followers were released from the book, but Meggie's mother got in.

INKHEART IS A BOOK FILLED WITH EXITING ADVENTURES AND UNEXPECTED TWISTS.
THE ONE WHO STARTED IT ALL,HIS NAME IS MO.HE HAS THIS SPECIAL GIFT THAT ALLOWS HIM TO READ THINGS OUT OF BOOKS ONLY WHEN HE READS ALOUD.SO,ONE DAY HE WAS READING TO HIS WIFE,A BOOK CALLED INKHEART.AND A LITTLE LATER,THESE MEN SUDDENLY BREAK INTO HIS HOUSE,THE MEN MO READ OUT OF INKHEART.
THINGS CAN ONLY GET WORSE FROM THERE.

I love this book! I think that it is the kind of book that makes you want to fall in and not be able to get back out, even after you are finished reading it. I have been meeting up with a lot of old friends lately and we've been talking about our all-time favorites...every one of us said Inkheart! When I first read Inkheart I was 12, just like Meggie. I loved her story so much that I went out and bought one of those wooden boxes that they sell at craft stores and painted it poppy red
with golden, curly letters that read "Carmen's Treasure Chest" and made sure that it was big enough to hold my hardback copy of Inkheart.(read it and you'll see what I am talking about) If you are obsessed with a good book, like me, please tell me all about it!

Inkheart by Cornelia Funke is a truly amazing book. By her vivid description I could picture every character very clearly. Also, with the length of the book, there could be several points of suspense. A wonderful part was the reunion of the family. I was thrilled that they found Theresa again. I think that Cornelia Funke uses very good foreshadowing to show that Dustfingers love turn out to be Silvertounge's wife. This is a wonderful book.

Inkheart by Cornelia Funke was a great book. One night Meg finds out her dad Mo can "read" out characters from books. He accidently made his wife dissapear and now people from the book Inkheart are back and want to get back into the book. With many twists and turns and adventure this book swept me in and didnt spit me back out until the last page. Although after I finished reading this book I wished for a sequal to come out, this book is also good left alone as a lot of the mysteries posed throughout the book have been solved and the characters really seem real once the book ends and you begin to miss hearing about them and there adventures. This book is great for a fantasy lover as it is a very fantastical book but anyone would love this great story.

Inkheart by Cornelia Funkee is an awesome book. My uncle, a book lover, was reading six books at the time when he came accross Inkheart. He stopped reading all six just to read Inkheart. He fell in love with it and then passed it onto me.

Mo and Meg have always lived happily together. Mo, Meg's father, and Meg are always moving from house to house with all of their books. They are obsessed with books. Once they start one they can't put it down. But then one night a mysterious stranger called Dustfinger shows up at their door and begins to call Mo, Silvertoung. Dustfinger begins to raise questions in Meg's head like why has her father never read aloud to her? But then the day after Dustfinger's visit Mo and Meg go to Meg's aunt's house. Her aunt has the Europes and the world's largest collection of books. Meg and Mo are in love with them all. Of course the Aunt dosen't have every book. She just has most. But then up pops Dustfinger again and he begins to raise questions in Meg's head. Then Mo is kidnapped and it is up to Meg, her aunt and Dustfinger to save him.

On their adventure they meet a weird creature, are helped and betrayed by the friend, meet an author, learn a secret, discover a power, find Meg's mother and make some enimes.

I hope you enjoy this book as much as I did! If you are looking for some more enjoyable books by Cornelia Funkee you should read Theif Lord. I am currently in the middle of it and love it!

Do you dare read this book aloud? Well, Mo dose and he reads aloud 2 evil villians and a clown then his wife dissappears. Now it is up to Mo and his daughter to defeat Capricorn. But to do that they need the book Mo read him out of and they don't know if they can get him back in the book. Do you dare read this book aloud?

Inkheart is an unusual, but wonderful book. It`s about a girl and her father. When they read aloud, the characters come to life!Unfortunatly, a lot of bad guys get out of it too. It`s hard to explain, but if you read it I know you`ll love it!

"InkHeart" is a realy amazing book.It is adventourus and brave.I wish that there was a sequel for it.I hope that you read this book.I recomend it to a lot of my friends.There are certain parents that won't let their kids read Harry Potter this is simular but the magic is not commen.
