Vivien Leigh Reed excuse me, Leigh Reed can think of a ton of things she'd rather do than spend the summer with her movie-star mother, Annika. Actually, just about anything. But her dad insists that she needs some quality time with dear old mom, so she finds herself in not-so-sunny Ireland on the set of Danny Boy.
Mom and daughter are definitely not hitting it off to begin with, but things start to look up for Leigh when she notices Sean, the hot & hunky co-star. Then she sort-of accidentally lands the part of Sean's sister and there's no looking back: another diva is in the making.
But tensions are definitely rising to above-normal levels when two divas hit the set at the same time. Will anyone survive the clash? Will Sean realize that Leigh is much more than an ordinary fifteen-year-old? Will Annika be able to share the spotlight?
This is a nice comedy novel with heart that girls aged 12 and up will surely love. After all, who doesn't want to be a diva-in-training?
