I think the cover and synopsis go quite well together. To me, the glaring orange of the prison jumpsuit sends the idea that reality is harsh like that color.
Hello
Thanks for the opportunity.
I really like that cover. The thing about Johansson’s books is that, even though their covers seem simple, they reflect in an honest way what the story is about. And especially this one, it gives me a feeling of rage but also desperation, which I love.
And what can I say about the synopsis? It’s just perfect. A girl that finds out a horrible truth, and it’s connected to a dark past, and it’s about her own father? I’m in.
The cover seems to really fit the synopsis well! I’m actually very intrigued to read this book, it sounds both interesting and unique.
This looks like my kind of thing. I can’t wait.
Hello! I’m entering the contest. As for what I can say about the cover, it’s perfect! It’s simple, the colors are very well schemed and the font choice is very beautiful. I think it perfectly suits the summary well, a very intriguing book that you won’t be able to let go once you see it in a bookstore. For the summary, I can say that it caught my attention. It really gives me a feeling that it’s like some sort of an anti-hero story, or it gives the feeling of a marvel movie before some hero discovers his father is a bad guy. It looks really really good, and win or not, I’ll definitely buy it when it comes out. Good luck to everyone who joined the contest!
This sounds like a real page-turner of a plot — must read! Thanks! 🙂
This book sounds beyond awesome. I love the cover!!! The cover alone would have peaked my curiosity! Being a fan of J.R. Johansson and reading all her other books, I know this one will be so good!!
I like it. Makes me want to read the book (suspense is my favorite).
The Row sounds exciting and I love the bold cover ♡ Thank you
This synopsis really got to me. I have many students who have parents in jail, and I’ve experienced it with family members as well. The cover is bold and gritty.
interesting sounding
It looks interesting and sounds exciting
The book cover is vivid and harsh, like I imagine the book will be. I think it is well suited to the book. It certainly grabbed my attention, and the synopsis kept it. I think this could be a very thought provoking and exciting book to read.
The= cover looks perfect for the book from what I read from the synopsis. The synopsis definitely has me intrigued. It’s making me think a lot about how the protagonist will change over time as well as her relationship with her father. Really looking forward to the mystery and drama in this book.

the cover and synopsis go well together. I want to know why a father on death row would tell his daughter that and then retract it. I have to know!
Emotional… and heart-grabbing!
I love the cover, especially the grey skin contrasting with the orange jumpsuit. The story sounds amazing! I’ve been trying to read more thrillers so I will put this on my TBR list.
I’m not a huge fan of the cover, but the synopsis does sound interesting, and makes up for it!
