Dorothy Deene has lived most of her life in the L.A. area and is no stranger to the entertainment world. She spent years writing and directing plays and working as a column writer for the Gazette. It wasn’t until her daughter landed a spot on a reality show at CBS Studios that centered around a group of talented teens and their parents, did Deene begin writing her debut novel, The Gravity of Lies.
