Hilarious

I love this series more than life itself. Georgia is hilarious and someone we can all relate to. Non-stop laughter and entertainment ahead if you read this book.

Beautiful and heartbreaking

It's easy to see why this became such a hyped up popular novel. It was very well written and the characters were complex and intriguing. It is very easy to read in one sitting, which does not diminish how beautiful the novel is. Green writes amazing,...

Disappointing

This novel is terribly tedious and horrendously written. I never say this, but the movie was far far better. The plot was non-existent and the characters transparent and not fleshed out at all. Nicholas Sparks is very overrated.

Fun, interesting and frightening

I really enjoyed this novel. It is compelling and shows more than you think it does. It's not just a YA novel - its a critique on reality too. Katniss is epic and Peeta was a sweetheart. Gale can go away please. ...

Everything you could want and more

I devoured this novel in one sitting. Uglies is such a unique and compelling sci-fi adventure - it is almost impossible to put down. Tally was an incredible main character and such a great role model. She is one of my top ten book girlfriends. ...

A slow but interesting vampire novel

I read this book when I was fifteen so of course I fell in love with it. Over time, I realised it was not the epic love story I thought it was and it is actually quite problematic (that's more in New Moon though). Bella is...

A hype book that disappointed

Perks of Being a Wallflower is a strange mix of heartbreak, annoyance and tediousness. There were certain enjoyable parts of the novel, but the bad far outweighed the good in this case. The novel follows Charlie, painfully shy, introspective, highly intelligent and socially awkward. He is...

A deliciously creepy novel

I still can’t believe that a novel such as Coraline is marketed and written for children. I was, frankly, terrified all the way through my reading experience, and yet unable to put the novel down. When Coraline moves into a new house with her inattentive parents, she...

A dark look at important issues

If you are a sensitive person or someone who can’t stomach reading about assault, violence and/or drugs and sex, then this is not the book for you. If you are not put off by that stuff (like me), then you will love this book while simultaneously growing angry at the...

An astounding action-packed finale

If there were ever such a thing as a perfect novel, The Last Olympian would be it. The novel was flawless, the action was perpetual and incredible, and everything from the previous novels was tied together and wrapped up neatly. The concluding novel increases the action from...

Suspenseful and amazing

If the previous three novels in the series were amazing, The Battle of the Labyrinth was phenomenal. The adventure was never-ending and the new take on Greek mythology was absolutely fascinating. In the fourth novel, Annabeth and Clarisse have been researching and attempting to locate an entrance...

Fun and exciting

The Titan’s Curse raises the stakes, the tension and the adventure by a tenfold. I could not tear my eyes away from the page to save my life. The third novel in the Percy Jackson series picks up a few months after the conclusion of The Sea...

An adventure-filled sequel

The second book in the Percy Jackson is just as enjoyable and charming as the first novel in the series. The adventure continues as Percy secretly sets out on a quest with Annabeth and Grover in order to find the Golden Fleece to save Thalia’s tree which...

A surprisingly fun, witty and comical novel

I’m sure we all have that book on our to-be-read lists, a book that you constantly stare at thinking, “I really need to read you,” but the timing is just not right. The Lightning Thief is that book for me. I think this novel has been on my TBR list...

Intricate and unique

The third CoHo book I have read, Confess is an intricately unique novel that I could not put down. Colleen Hoover has a gift for contemporary romance and I love to immerse myself in her stories, over and over again. Confess follows Auburn Reed, a twenty-one year...
