Catz want to be a detective, so he gathers his gear and heads out to help his friends. It might be a tough first case, but the observant Catz finds lots of other treasures along the way!

This is a super charming detective story. Catz’ mission is very relatable – what kid doesn’t want to play “real” detective? – and the crayon art style also adds to the sense that this is a story kids can easily relate to. Since this is a mystery, there’s lots of clues hidden in the illustrations, and the simple narrative and large font size make for an easy and engaging read.

Recommend for lovers of animals, detectives, and low stakes mystery.
