Kitten's Autumn takes us on a journey through the autumn woods. Along the way, Kitten meets many different animals and discovers all the foods they eat in preparation for winter.
While there isn't much to read in Kitten's Autumn, the mixed media illustrations make it a gem to own. Eugenie Fernandes' artwork is so real and inviting, it makes you wish you could touch it or see it in person. Each page holds a dozen different things to point out and discuss with kids.
I read Kitten's Autumn to a 2-year-old, and she adored it so much, she made me read it six times. I hope Eugenie Fernandes has more books to come!
