This book now brings some new things into play, polar bears, the fire star, and of course the dragons, the story getting ever more complicated as David Rain finds himself mixed up in pretty much everything.

Going to the Arctic and the permission to start writing a book? That's just about as good as it gets for David. I really liked how we could also see how David was going with his book, and I found it very interesting when the book started to look like real life.

I think that this book was better than Icefire but I think The Fire Within was better.

David is faced with a tough task. Gwilanna is back (just so you know, she's a very evil sibyl) and she's planning to resurrect the dragon Gawain on the Tooth of Ragnar. Is it possible to stop her?

Chris D'Lacey manages to pull off yet another great book with a fantastic ending.

In the third installment of The Last Dragon Chronicles, polar bears, dragons and the fire star come together for a spectacular novel. I liked how this book had excerpts of the book that David was writing. I found this quite interesting, especially when it begins to mirror real-life. Writing like this also gave a lot more insight on the bear parts of this book, the story behind them and why they're so important to the story.

In this thrilling third book in Chris d'Lacey's amazing series, David Rain is faced with a tremendous task. The evil sibyl Gwilanna is back, this time determined to resurrect the dragon Gawain on the ice cap of the Tooth of Ragnar. Can David and his friends stop her before it's too late?

I loved this book more than Icefire but less than the Fire Within. The ending is extraordinary and you will wonder how Chris d'Lacey will carry on this series, but he does pull it off in a slightly confusing way. This book will definitely live up to your expectations.
