This is another solid installment in the Lego Ninjago series. The illustrations are fabulous, and the book welcomes new and old Lego fans into the ninjago world with familiar faces and a familiar world. The story has humor and is full of action, though it won't take readers long to gobble the story down. This is best for younger readers who don't want a detailed story to dig into.

What I Loved:

I loved the illustrations because they gave it the whole Lego style which matches the rest of the Lego series. The plot is very mysterious because you don't know what happens when Zane goes away. I also liked that they added some humor in the story. And I really liked the action scenes.

What I Didn't Like:

I didn't like that the story was so short and that it kept changing from one point of view to another.

Final Thoughts:

It's a good book, and I'd recommend it to people who like fighting, Legos, and adventure.
