If you want to read a quick teen romance that touches on some universal themes -- with characters that are relatable -- and has some scifi weirdness thrown in for good measure, then LEO'S LOVE STORY is the book for you.
Good Points
It's not often that a book surprises me with a little SciFi thrown into what I'm expecting to be a teen romance, but LEO'S LOVE STORY did just that. Alien abduction and quantum issues with time didn't seem out of place as I followed Leo's journey from World War II to the present. I felt as if I knew every character, or had at least met someone just like them at some point. The problems that Leo faces are universal themes that I think readers of all ages will feel able to relate. This was a great read -- short and to the point -- the perfect book for a long rainy weekend.
