Little Bo Sneak is the second book in the Once Upon a Rhyme series, where the author takes a fairy tale and puts a creative twist on the story we all know. Little Bo Peep is the focus of this one, but instead of Bo being a sheep herder, she is a spy. Evie is a great character, mixing snark, smarts, and strength. The banter between her and Shep is utterly delightfully sweet, combined with some fantastic banter. The Plot is creative, with subtle and not-so-subtle nods to the nursery rhyme woven throughout the story. Once Upon a Rhyme series is an innovative take on fairy tale retellings, and each one builds upon the other but stands alone as its own story.
Audiobook Review: The narrator makes this story so worth listening to. She tells the story with the right tones for the various creative moments in the story. I like the bit of twang her voice has, and I added her to my list of favorite narrators.
