I think that Lock and Key, Sarah Dessen's most recent novel, is a great book about trying to cope with change in your life. Even though Ruby finally has a nice house to live in and a great sister and brother-in-law to take care of her, she cannot let go of that old house--if that's what you want to call it--where she and her mother once lived. That is why she always wears a key to the lock of the old house around her neck. As she makes a new friend, Nate, she starts seeing many similarities between his life and hers as she digs deeper. This book is about friendship, trust, and overcoming the scary factors that come into play when change occurs. Hopefully, everyone else likes this book too, because I reccommend it to everyone.
