Long May She Reign was an interesting novel.
Freya is the twenty third in line to the throne and never expected to be queen, but devastating circumstances change everything.
The plot was fascinating with Freya trying to adjust to royal life while also investigating the plot of the murdered king.
I liked Freya's intelligence and her interest in science. Naomi was a great friend and Fitzroy was intriguing.
There was science mixed with royal politics in a fantasy setting that made this novel quite fascinating.
