Review Detail

I devoured the entire Love Comes Softly series as a girl. And then I went back and re-read them multiple times. Love Comes Softly is a sweet story about love growing gradually, the power of hope, and the fact that while dark times hit us all, they don't stay forever. This is a clean story (no language, no sexy times) with a simple writing style and works well for younger readers too. Ms. Oke does a great job of building a world that feels like an authentic prairie town from the 1800s. I recommend the series.
