MAISY'S ROCKET is a cute board book with a new Maisy adventure into space! Maisy and Cyril blast off into outer space, traveling to the Space Station, where they get to do some work and sleep.

What I loved: This is such a clever and fun new Maisy adventure. The shaped board book adds to the fun, appearing in the shape of a space rocket. Maisy books are really made for young toddlers with strong lines in the illustrations, bright colors, and characters that they can recognize across stories. Simple text conveys what is happening with simple language that is easy to follow. This new adventure brings space to Maisy lovers with the adorable characters little ones know and love heading some place new. Even though it is new, they also brush their teeth and go to bed, habits that are great for everyone.

The story is easy to read aloud and moves fast, which works perfectly for the intended audience. The story is short but tells enough of what is going on to satisfy young readers and introduce them to the concept of space travel and the universe beyond our planet with characters they already love.
