Max and her flock once again try to save the world. they are slowly seperating. The Erasers are gone and Ari is the only one left. Later they get recaptured by the whitecoats and tested. They manage to escape with the help of Ari but none of the flock likes him. The flock split into two, one lead by Fang and one lead by Max. Both of them when their seperate ways. Max and her flock went to Europe while Fang and his flock travel west to California. This book has what all of the other books in the series have, a mission to save the world, something hapened and they can't do what they wanted but still get mostly what they want and there are times where it is not as serious. There are always running from things and sometimes they get captured again by the people.

There is one last chance to save the world.... and it is in the hands of six kids with extraordinary talents. They can FLY!!! Only these people, led by Max, can stop a deadly plot to wipe out half the human population even as they re being hunted by morphing wolves!!! With the history of mankind on the brink of destruction, Max must fight to protect those she loves, identify a traitor in her flock, ( group ) and uncover a startling secret that will change her future...... if there IS a future. This book is grossed out and good for girls and guys. I think that this book is an appeal that transcends age. this book is the type of book that anyone from middle school to college would like to read. This book captivated me and drew me to the book. This is action packed and full of adventure.
          What a Read!!!!!@!

Okayz, man... This 3rd book of the Maximum Ride series
turned my world. It was AWESOME. It really was. It just surprised me,
that is. After a fit between Max & Fang, the two older people of
the Flock (a group of 6 human-avian hybrids), the group splits up in
half. I found this heartbreaking, and strange how they could do it
because of Ari, a human-lupine (wolf) seven-year-old that Fang cannot
stand being around. All the boys go to Fang, and the girls to Max. It
was really weird to see how the boys act without the girls around. It
was just strange, and got me to like, view the guys in a more ugh....
manner. xP. Max, as always, is the greater leader, but they soon find
out how they need each other, and the rest of their flock. I really
liked this book, and read on and on and on. I just, uhh, didn't like
the guys alone. It was amazing, though! I seem to be picking out the
parts I didn't like, but really, of the first four books in this series
(I have yet to read the 5th), I liked this one the best! Fly on! :D

Still loving the series, and actually, I'm more in love. I made the mistake of reading the fourth one first, but still, it was amazing.

I think the best part I liked was the fact that Max seems more likable. The overall book because slightly less confusing for me, and I really got into it after a while. And despite everything else, I really found times where I was laughing out loud.

A definite read. If you liked this one, I'd suggest Scott Westerfeld's Midnighters series.

The Maximum Ride series has been one of my favorite series for a while now, though I am still in the process of collecting it, and I would highly recommend it.

Saving the World and Other Extreme Sports is the third in the Maximum Ride series. If you're new to this series, it is about winged kids and genetic experiments. There's drama, action, and even some romance; a little bit of something for everyone.

It's hard to say which of the three so far was the best; they're all fantastic. Also, there's going to be another one coming out called The Final Warning. I read an excerpt, and it seems okay so far. I'll probably read and review it when it comes out.

I think everyone should read the Maximum Ride series; it should be mandatory because they are such great books!

Max has enough trouble trying to keep her Flock of flying kids together but now, she has to save the world? Max is confuzed and ready to take a break, but she embarks on a mission to find out the truth once and for all.

This book was just as good, maybe even better than the first two. Max is always a great character with a big personality, and the other characters are developed even more. This is really hilarious and surprising. Big hopes for the next book.

Max is back with all the attitude, adventure, and amazing surprises that weve come to expect from the Maximum Ride series. As the Erasers come to their expiry date, a new, terrible threat looms over the horizon and the flocks not as tight-knit as it used to be. However, the message about Maxs predicament is spreading and thanks to children all around the world, it looks like Max might have a chance.

I loved this book, the plot twists had me gasping and I could never have imagined the ending.I loved all of the witty remarks that Max came up with; you can really learn a lot from her. She had me laughing all the way through, I can never explain her personality thoroughly, shes just Max. What I didnt like was how quickly Fangs character developed, he goes from moody in Schools Out Forever to more extroverted and writing a world-wide blog just a couple of chapters in to Saving The World and Other Extreme Sports. However, the ending was a bit too perfect, is there hope for a sequel?
