About me

Dawn Michelle Hardy is known as The Literary Lobbyist for her nationally recognized work with both traditionally and self published authors. She is a book publicist, literary agent and publishing consultant who understands that promoting authors and their books are about discoverability, access and an entrepreneurial approach. Called a “powerhouse who shares industry truths” by Upscale magazine Dawn is a frequent podcast guest and conference presenter who teaches on platform building, proposal writing and the best practices for securing a traditional book deal. She is a member of the NAACP Image Award Literary Committee, has been featured in The Guide to Literary Agents and has served as a member of Women in Media Group. Dawn began her career in publishing in 2002 with now New York Times Bestselling author Teri Woods.
