Jessica has found her deadly new talent, that is deadly to the darklings. She is the flame bringer and technology works for her in the secret hour. She and Jonathan are happy lovers and spend the secret hour together. But all is not well. Melissa has heard a thought that might mean danger for Jessica in the daytime. Someone or something is out there and it wants Jessica. Dess is trying to unravel the secrets of the secret hour but there is more than the midnighters might think.

Just like the first one. This is such a great book. There are many twists and turns in this sequel. It makes the story so intresting. I loved the way the author made the least thing you would expect to happen. I would recommend this book to someone that loves a good fantasy (like me).
