This book was great. The suspense was awesome and the whole time I thought the kidnapper was this one person but at the end it surprised me as is to who it was. The mother I really thought was kind of mean because how could she torture her kids like that.

It didnt seem right and she tried to fix everything by kidnapping their sister and giving their sister back to them as if she found her.  I thought the father should not have kept the abusive ways of their mother from the kids because it made them kinda rebel against their father in the book wondering what else he could have not told them.
