Good Points
The suspence in the book was just great. This is most likely my favorite mystery book ever! When I finally read it all, I didn't expect what happened in the book to happen and thats what got me to love it!

This book was great. The suspense was awesome and the whole time I thought the kidnapper was this one person but at the end it surprised me as is to who it was. The mother I really thought was kind of mean because how could she torture her kids like that.

It didnt seem right and she tried to fix everything by kidnapping their sister and giving their sister back to them as if she found her. I thought the father should not have kept the abusive ways of their mother from the kids because it made them kinda rebel against their father in the book wondering what else he could have not told them.

Maggie is home from school and is waiting for her little sister to get home from school but when she doesn't Maggie knows something is wrong. So Maggie and her brother have to face some secrets about their mother who they think could be the kidnapper. But they also have to ask themselves if the kidnapper could be after them also?

This novel is a big departure from Ann M. Martin's "Baby-sitter" series. The book reads like a Lifetime movie the way the cast of characters interact with one another as well as the subject matter. At first, you think the kidnapper is a random stranger, but (spoiler alert), it turns out that the kidnapper has connections to the family. See? I didn't give away too much!
I highly recommend this book if you like mysteries or crime novels and especially if you're a Lifetime movie buff. This is a fast read that you won't want to put down. If you liked the Janie, "Face on a Milk Carton," books, then you'll love "Missing since Monday."

This book keeps you wondering and guessing. You will not want to get this book out of your hands once you start reading it. It will lead you to suspect a certain character of kidnapping the little girl in the story, but what happens at the end is suprising. This book is a good book for 4th to 8th grade students ages 10 to 14
