Morgana and Oz follows the story of Morgana, who is a witch, and Oz, who belongs to their rival vampire clan. One night there is a meeting between the witch and vampire clan to try and negotiate peace but things go wrong. Now Morgana’s grandfather has gone missing and Morgana accidentally turned Oz into a cat. Morgana now has to figure out how to turn Oz back while figuring out what is happening between her family line and the vampire clan.

What I Liked: I have enjoyed vampires and witches since I was a teenager so I was excited to get to read this book after reading the description. Something that stood out to me instantly was the feud between the vampires and witches, along with the potential friendship between Morgana and Oz. I remember this being the story I would gravitate towards when I was younger so I was quite pleased to read it happening.

I love that Oz is this cute cat throughout the majority of this book because it makes it so that he is less terrifying. It’s hard to hate him as a character when he is a cat and seems harmless. Therefore even if we should be wary of the vampires in this story, it makes the reader understand Morgana’s approach to the vampires she encounters.

This book made me go online to look for the webtoon since I couldn’t just wait for the next volume to come out. I needed to know what happens next to all the characters that I have fallen in love with. I need to know the mystery of what is happening and the story behind the feud between Morgana’s family and the vampire clan.

Final Verdict: Morgana and Oz is a cute and fun webtoon turned into a graphic novel. The story is easy to follow along and you can’t help but love each of the characters you encounter throughout the book. Young adults ages 13 and up who are fans of the supernatural will enjoy reading this book and following along as Morgana tries to fix her mistake.
