this third book in the trilogy is just as amazing as the first and the second. It begins a week after the 2nd ended, and by then Jace has become completely desperate to protect Clary from any harm at all. he convinces himself that the only way to keep her safe is to keep her away from him and any other shadowhunters. She doesn't understand why he can't stand to be around her anymore, and doesn't realize that he is suffering the exact same thing she is- but i wont give it away. just trust me that it is the perfect ending to probably the best fictional series and epic love story i have ever read.

I thought that this book was one of the best that I have read in a long time!!! I loved Jace, wish he was real!! I did'nt want the story to ever end, and I can't wait until this great author puts out another book. Look out twlight!!

This is is beyond GREAT!!! I loved this book. I hated it because the two main characters couldn't be together because they was brother and sister, i loved this book because it had a ending that i actually wanted to Happen.!!!

This book is great, awesome, anything like that. You can't compare any book to this one. Cassandra Clare did a great job with City of Glass. She did great with taking you into the story and making it feel like your actually right there fighting with other shadowhunters. Of course if your thinking about reading this (which you should) you should read all of the Mortal Instruments.
