Brief Summary: My Luke and I is a great biography by Eleanor Gehrig and Joseph Durso. They tell the lives of Lou and Eleanor Gehrig. It starts in their childhood lives and goes through Lou's death. All the problems they had gone through, including the Depression and Eleanor going from rich too the lowest of low in her childhood life are included in this book. She would eventually fix her prblem by meeting Lou at a party and they eventually make a lot of money.

Opinion: I think that this is a great book for people that love biographies especially on famous sports figures. My personal favorite character is Eleanor Gehrig because of her bravery to marry a man like Lou and the way she handled his baseball career and his disease that he had to deal with later in his life. My favorite event in the book is when Lou decides to go to Yankee Stadium and play in his 2000th straight game against what Eleanor wanted.
Recommendations: I'd recommend this book to people of all ages and both genders because it talks about the life of someone else who made an impact in a certain area. A lot of people should read these books because it will help you to know more and you'll get into biographies a little better.
