My Very Unfairy Tale Life by Anna Staniszewski was such an adorable book. I absolutely loved it - and what a fun take on fairy tales and their outcomes! I cannot wait for book 2 to hear more of Jenny's fun story.

This was such a clever book - I loved the idea of adventurers helping all the magical creatures along to make decisions and make sure the outcome of the stories is what people want to see. It was so fun to learn about Jenny's world. I loved the focus on friendship and family that appears throughout the book.

The characters were so fun! Jenny was a great main character - she was so charming, spunky, and not afraid to share her thoughts. Prince was pretty fun as well. Helga and Crong's relationship was so intriguing and adorable. I really am excited to see more of the characters in the sequel, as they really were quite fabulous.

Anyone looking for a great book should check out My Very Unfairy Tale Life. It really was such a treat to read and I cannot wait for more from Anna Staniszewski! A fabulous debut!
