This humorous, conversational narrative is chock full of very useful tips for budding older elementary or middle grade writers. With funny illustrations and a sly wit, the author invites kids to learn how to write well while validating their fears or disinterest in the topic. In many ways, this resource reads like a Wimpy Kid book, but readers will be hard pressed to find a more useful tool in teaching the art of writing to kids. Everything from where to find ideas to how to rewrite successfully to rules for punctuation and spelling are covered in a thoroughly entertaining style. Even the most reluctant student will find this an easy read, and parents/teachers will be thrilled with how educational it is.

Entertaining, educational, thorough, and fun--what more could you ask for in a resource for teaching kids how to write well?
